Alliance Française de Hong Kong and Consulat Général de France à Hong Kong et Macao are very proud to present the first edition of Make Music, Hong Kong! !
The two-day music festival is co-funded by European Union in Hong Kong and Macao and it will feature over 30 talented local and 7 European bands. Artists will perform on 5 different stages and together they will bring a wide range of music genre from classical to jazz, pop to electro.
Inspired by the Fête de la Musique which takes place all around the world on 21 June and celebrates the summer solstice in the northern hemisphere, Make Music, Hong Kong! will present all music styles in a cheerful atmosphere. It is a free event opened to both amateurs and professional performers, with several stages, workshops, screenings and roundtables. Music will be celebrated for all! With the support of the Consulate General of Hungary in Hong Kong, the Austrian Consulate General Hong Kong, the Istituto Italiano di Cultura Hong Kong, the Goethe-Institut Hongkong, and the Consulate General of Switzerland in Hong Kong, Make Music, Hong Kong! will promote and encourage artistic exchanges between European countries and Hong Kong.
